He was predeceased by: his parents, Myron Gannon and Thelma Gannon; his son Darin; his brother Duane (Marcia); and his brother-in-law Jarold Dickmann.

He is survived by: his wife Cathleen; his children, Janell Virnig (George) and Nathan Gannon (Stacey); his siblings, Rhonda Zilverberg (Naftali), Sandra Dickmann and Myron Gannon (Margaret); and his grandchildren, Colin, Kaitlyn, Megan, Evan and Nicholas.
