He was predeceased by : his wife Marilyn; his son Donald Schultz; his granddaughter Melissa Genereux; his mother Anna; and his siblings, Leona and Lenny.

He is survived by : his father Emil; his daughter Barbara Genereux (Stephen); his daughter-in-law Shelli; his grandchildren, Christa Moen (Joseph), Chad Genereux (Melissa), Erica Genereux (Benjamin Dixon), Jacob Schultz (Katelyn) and Joshua Schultz; and his great grandchildren, Taylor Moen, Alexis Moen and Aaliyah Dixon.
