He was predeceased by : his parents, John Pahlen and Lucille Pahlen (Sewill); his siblings, Donald, Theodore, Gary, Glenn, Timothy and Cis Klipping; his brother-in-law Delbert Schultz; his nephews, Darin and Austin; his father-in-law Raymond Opperud; and his sister-in-law Diane Domier.
He is survived by : his wife Bonnie Opperud; his children, Luke Pahlen (Shelly) of Crookston, MN, Shasta Pahlen Guillemette (Marc), Lacey Konickson (Dan) and Andrew Pahlen (Brittanie) of Plummer, MN; his grandchildren, Dominick, Isabel, Nathan, Lillyan, Daniel, Max, Adley, Masen, Leah and Evan; his siblings, Randy Pahlen (Jeanine) of Plummer, Laura Beyer (Curt), Linda Hanson (Keith Fuller) of Mentor, MN and Val Myhre (Darin); his siblings-in-law, Art Klipping, Bonnie J. Pahlen and Renae Philipp (Steve); his mother-in-law Gladys Opperud; and his siblings-in-law, Allan, Gary, Curtis, Julie, Rose, Mary Jo and Lynette. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
