It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jacob DeHaan of Red Lake Falls, Minnesota, born in Crookston, Minnesota, who passed away on March 19, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, John DeHaan and Gertrude DeHaan (Perrin); his wife Barbara Jean Myhrer of Bernard's Catholic Church; and his siblings, Martin, Catherine, Anthony, Margaret, Joseph, John and Robert.
He is survived by : his children, Robert DeHaan (Paula) of Wheaton, MN, Kimberly Conway (Pat) of Eden Prairie, MN, Donna DeHaan (Jeff) of Newport, MN, Carole Chaput (Craig) and Janell Vatthauer (Bill) of Crookston; his grandchildren, Nicole Larson (Jared), Katie Chaput (Brady Strom), Jordan Chaput (Mikayla), Chelsey Chaput (Adam Stalboerger), Brooke Wagner (Cole), Travis Vatthauer (Shelby), Tyler DeHaan and Rochelle Chaput (Tyler Conklin); his great grandchildren, Mariah, Sydnee, Matilda, Riker, Hensley, Hudson, Autumn, Cooper and Evie; and his siblings, Gerard DeHaan (MaryAnn) and Elaine "Sis" Boucher of Crookston. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
