Barbara Avery Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Avery of Red Wing, Minnesota, born in Freeport, Illinois, who passed away on December 12, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Verne Jenkins and Edna Jenkins; her parents-in-law, William and Lois Avery; and her siblings-in-law, Joan Majovski, Diane Avery, Erna Rose and Jim Rose.
She is survived by: her significant other Brent Avery; her children, Natalie Littfin (Jake) and Brandon Avery; her grandchildren, Allison, Barrett and Ruby Littfin; and her siblings, Diana Jenkins, Cynthia "CeCe" Jenkins, Alicia Blinkiewicz (David), Dale Avery (Nancy), Kevin Avery (Dori), Matt Majovski (Joan Demules) and Todd Avery (Nora). She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bodelson-Mahn Chapel (602 Plum St, Red Wing, MN 55066). A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Red Wing Area Food Shelf, River Bluff Humane Society or Red Wing ELC.
