It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Carol A. Kosec of Red Wing, Minnesota, who passed away at the age of 88, on May 29, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Eckblad and Lois Eckblad (Luth); her husband Richard "Dick" Kosec; her son Grant Kosec; and her siblings, Dale, David and Martha Eckblad.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lori Johnson (Steven) of Champlin and Christine Hayes (Wes) of Red Wing; her grandchildren, Kevin (Rachel), Ryan Hayes (Jane), Jason and Allison Johnson; her great grandchildren, Morgyn, Mykah Johnson and Otto Hayes; and her siblings, Bruce Ekblad of Red Wing and Judy Cote of Maine. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Christ Episcopal Church (321 West Ave, Red Wing, Minnesota 55066, United States). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials are preferred to St. Jude's. Arrangement handled by Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel.
