She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Vaale and Esther Vaale (Holmberg); and her husband Royce Benson. She is survived by: her daughters, Cher Marie of Pepin, Karen Harvey (William) of Florida, Lori Nelson (Brian) of Goodhue and Krissy Owens (Jon Krebsbach) of Red Wing. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
