We are sad to announce that on January 10, 2026 we had to say goodbye to Edmund L. Patlan of Red Wing, Minnesota. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Antero Patlan and Emiliana Patlan (Lopez); his wife Mary Ellen; his siblings, Maria Luisa, Olivia and Juan; and his in-laws, Jerry, Elena, Julian, Elvin and Marcos.
He is survived by: his children, Stephen (Julie), Sandy (Keith) and Diana (Brian); his grandchildren, Amanda (Richie), Lauren (Nate), Anthony, Christopher (Margriet) and Elena (Coleman); his stepgreat-granddaughters, Sarah and Bonnie; his siblings, Antero Jr. (Jeanette), Ninfa, Rosa, Amanda and Leticia (Eloy); Desiree. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Church of St. Joseph (435 W 7th St, Red Wing, MN 55066). A Mass will be held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials are preferred to Hispanic Outreach, the Church of St. Joseph or the local food shelf.
