She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Arthur Scharpen and Phyllis Rebecca Scharpen (Ralph Stehr); her brother Virgil Scharpen; her niece Gayle Krause (Scharpen); her brothers-in-law, Roger Stehr, Richard Stehr and David Swee; and her nephew Jon Stehr.
She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Erickson Bolin (Kelly) of Mazeppa and Mark Stehr (Lisa) of Goodhue; her grandchildren, Jordan Erickson (Michaela Oelkers) of Baldwin, WI, Matthew Stehr of Red Wing, Tyler Stehr (Emilee) of Winthrop, MN and Joey Miller (Cody) of Red Wing; her great grandchildren, Jolee, Emryn, Reese, Ezekiel Stehr and Tucker Miller; her sisters-in-law, Arlene Scharpen, Karen Stehr, Elizabeth Stehr and Mary Jane Swee; and her grandchildren, Ben and Peyton Bolin.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Christ Lutheran Church (223 E 5th St, Zumbrota, MN 55992). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at 3:45 PM at the Christ Lutheran School (1050 Jefferson Dr, Zumbrota, MN 55992).
Memorials are preferred to Christ Lutheran Church or School.
