Jacqueline Mae Mikaelsen Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Jacqueline Mae Mikaelsen (Red Wing, Minnesota). Jacqueline, born on January 7, 1949, passed away on September 5, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Aldor Leonal Freeberg and Ida Marie Freeberg (Hanson); her husband Paul Gerhard Mikaelsen; and her brother James Freeberg. She is survived by: her children, Theresa Bates (Mitch) of Caranavi, Bolivia, Jesse Mikaelsen (Anne) of Whitehall and Dallas Mikaelsen (Danae) of Miami, Florida; her grandchildren, Evan Ringelberg, Kellan Mikaelsen, Piers Mikaelsen, Fern Mikaelsen and Spring Mikaelsen; and her sister Katherine "Kay" Fiksen of Red Wing, Minnesota. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel (602 Plum St, Red Wing, MN 55066). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Vasa Lutheran Center.
