He was predeceased by: his parents, James, Sr. Holden and Florence Holden (Quade); his stepson Steven Finstuen; and his siblings, Marvin "Sam" Holden, Evelyn "Tootie" Hays, Pat Albrecht, Helen "Bubby" Johnson, Irene Albrecht, Glenn Holden, LaVonne Jennings and Dennis "Pinky" Holden.
He is survived by: his children, Penny Cole, Jamie Clark (Curly), Bunny Moore (Bill), Tim Holden (Michelle) and Terri Schoonmaker; his stepchildren, Scott Finstuen (Jill) and Darla Calverley; his grandchildren, RyAnne, Justin, Jonathan, Brooke, Reba, Trisha, Alice and Ethan; and his sister Betty Holden. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, many step-siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
