He is survived by : his wife Renee Madison; his children, Dana Walker (Brian), Lisa Nystuen (Troy) and Wade Mallon (Michelle); his grandchildren, Adam Nystuen (Dana), Nathan Walker, Bryanna Cole (Michael), Derek Mallon, Zack Schutz (Kaitlyn), Jason Nystuen, Lucas Mallon, Noah Schutz and Emily Mallon; his great grandchild Lyla Cole; and his siblings, Patricia Dodge (Andrew) and Dean Ellefson (Becky).

Memorials are preferred to St. Croix Hospice, St. Paul's Lutheran Church or donor's choice.
