She is survived by : her husband Richard Walen (Dick); her children, Nathan Walen of Byron and Erika Karl (Kevin Karl) of Eustis, Florida.; her stepgrandchildren, Chandler and Kaitlyn Karl; her brothers, Ronald Nelson (Diane) of Minnetonka and Randal Nelson (Christy) of Overland Park, Kansas.; her nieces, Lindsey and Krista; her nephew Joseph of St. Louis; her pet Nela; and also, Donald and Dorothy Walen of Red Wing, Minnesota..
