He is survived by: his brothers, Duane and David Halvorson; his former wife Alice Kleven; his children, Laura Bartsch (Terry), Brenda Smith (Jerry), Susie Flynn (Jeff), Joe Halvorson (Shannon) and JJ Halvorson; and his grandchildren, Anna, Joshua Bartsch, Neftali, Elijah Medina, Isaac, Marcus Flynn, Amelia, Joey Halvorson and Annabelle Halvorson.
