He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Hovey and Elna Hovey (Gilbertson). He is survived by: his children, Kate Van Campen (Jason), Nick Hovey (Tiffany), Kim Olander (Justin) and Jennifer Larson; his grandchildren, Cameron of Eva, J. P., Naomi, Gage, Ryder, Riley, Isabell, Gilbert, Gabrielle, Bennett and Henry; and his sister Kathy Parker (Jim).
