With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Judy Janssen of Red Wing, Minnesota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Judy left this world on September 21, 2025 at the age of 68, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. Though Judy may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Judy touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her mother Hope Colvin (Runyun); and her daughter Lori Jean Hauschildt. She is survived by: her father Jerrold Colvin of Red Wing; her children, Shelly Braford of Red Wing, Chris Janssen (Cassandra Jo) of Red Wing and John Jr. Janssen (Chrissie) of Oronoco; her siblings, Daniel Colvin (Luan) of Red Wing, Steven Colvin (Violeta) of Alaska and Donna Dee Weems (Nathaniel) of California; and her close friend Lane Jablonske of Red Wing. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, four great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bodelson-Mahn Chapel (602 Plum St, Red Wing, MN 55066).
