He was predeceased by : his parents, Emil Tellinghuisen and Lora Tellinghuisen (Heldt); and his brother Earl. He is survived by : his wife Carleen Novek; his children, Robert Tellinghuisen (Sharon), Cindy Tellinghuisen, Corey Novek (Samantha) and Tracy Novek; his grandchildren, Vanessa Betcher (Zach), Katarina Giovannoni (Darsen Ringling), Victoria Kay (Tyler), Angela Novek (Tyler Burgess), Jordan Brock (Emily) and Austin Brock; and his great grandchildren, Rosabelle, Rhaiella, Zaylan, Reece, Chloe, Briggs, Brayden and Hailey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials are preferred to Red Wing Mayo Hospice.
