She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Arends and Lorraine Arends (Erickson); her brother Steven Arends; her brother-in-law Timothy Downey; and her nephew Jamie Sadie.
She is survived by: her siblings, Kathy Ahrens (Thomas), Lynda Peine (Peter), Julie Olson (Michael), Peter Arends and Ginger Downey. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 19th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel (3075 Vermillion St, Hastings, MN 55033). A celebration of life was held on Monday, January 19th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
