She was predeceased by: her parents, Evald Erickson and Effie Erickson (Anderson); her son Brad Simanski; her husband Vernon; and her brothers, John and Jerry Erickson.
She is survived by: her children, Kevin Thompson (Lynelle) of Cannon Falls and Vonda Brandl (Joe) of Bemidji; her grandchildren, Kari Brandl (Jason), Hunter Brandl (Katelyn), Cassandra Kolipano (Mike) and Bradly Simanski; and her sister Darlene Sundheim (Donald) of Cannon Falls. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Lutheran Church (615 W 5th St, Red Wing, MN 55066). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Burnside Cemetery Burnside Cemetery.
