He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Gustafson and Georgia Gustafson (Norwood). He is survived by: his wife Helen Goranson; his children, Tammy Gustafson of Red Wing, Melissa Brueschke (Kurt) of Red Wing, Angela Lancman of Red Wing and Chris Gustafson of Red Wing; his grandchildren, Melinda Brueschke, Megan Mentzel (Matt), Colin Brueschke, Taryn Reed, Andrew Lancman (Emily Palka) and Gabrielle Lancman (Willy Thomas); and his great grandchildren, Willow and Adelaide.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson Mahn Chapel (602 Plum St, Red Wing, MN 55066). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery (7601 34th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55450).
