He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Nemeth and Frances Nemeth (Butler); his grandparents, Louis and Margaret Nemeth; his parents-in-law, Robert and Dorothy Steffenhagen; his siblings-in-law, Barbara Hanson, Peggy Steffenhagen, Jeff and Charlie Steffenhagen; and his great-niece Taylor Haglund.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Holst (Steffenhagen); his adoptive son Shawn Thao (Maly); his granddaughter Chloe Thao of St Paul; his siblings, Bonnie Todd (Stephen) of Eustis, FL, Jamie Nemeth and Tony Nemeth (Betty) of Umatilla, FL; and his siblings-in-law, Darrell Steffenhagen (Carole) of Red Wing, Myron Hanson of Eagan, Linda McNamara (Jerry) of Pine Island and Deb Steffenhagen of Windsor, CA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, other relatives and friends.
