He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Mikaelsen (Jay); his children, Theresa Bates (Mitch) of Caranavi, Bolivia, Jesse Mikaelsen (Anne) of Whitehall, MI and Dallas Mikaelsen (Danae) of Miami, Florida; his grandchildren, Evan Ringelberg, Kellan Mikaelsen, Piers Mikaelsen, Fern Mikaelsen and Spring Mikaelsen; and his siblings, Judy Yund of Bolivia, S. A., Ruth Gee (Bruce) of Florida, Ben Mikaelsen (Connie) of Washington and Joel Mikaelsen (Annie) of Michigan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
