Richard J. Sattre Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard J. Sattre of Red Wing, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 29, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Richard is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Richard's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Sattre and Iva Sattre (Runkle). He is survived by: his siblings, Judy Zuleger (Mark) of Medford and Mark Sattre (Darcy) of Stewartville, MN.; and his nieces and nephews, Ryan Boller (Michelle), Jenna Hanson (Shane), Andy Sattre (Kinjal), Paul Sattre and Daniel Sattre.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Griffin-Gray Funeral Home (201 3rd Ave NW, Stewartville, MN 55976). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 4:30 PM at the East St. Olaf Lutheran Cemetery.
