He was predeceased by: his parents, Gottfried Meier and Gertrude Meier (Heltorp); his sons, Randy and Brad Meier; and his brothers, Robert and Don Meier.
He is survived by: his former wife Rose Marie Mulligan; his wife Karen Meier (Hernlem); his daughter Jennifer Meier; and his friends, Mike and Tris Danielson.
