She was predeceased by: her parents, Orlen Oakland and Mildred Oakland (Sorbo); her children, Angela and Patrick; her brothers, Ordean and Mervin Oakland; and her son-in-law Abraham Benson.
She is survived by: her husband Bob; her daughter Holly Christenson (Matthew) of Shoreview; and her grandchildren, Tristan, Astrid Benson, Owen and Ethan Christenson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
