With sadness, we share the passing of Shirley Mae Roschen of Red Wing, Minnesota. Shirley, born on June 2, 1946, passed away on September 14, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Maynard Vieths and Donna Vieths (Arden); and her brother Michael. She is survived by: her husband Delmar Roschen; her sons, Delmar Jr. (Traci), Dennis (Jamie), Duane (Nikki), David (Michelle) and Daryl Roschen (Carianne); her grandchildren, Andrew Roschen (Morgan), Abbey Post (George), Maverick Roschen, Daniel Roschen, Lauren Gibson (Derek), Hallie, Bailie, Cody Roschen, Caitlin Heisler (Kolton), Morgan Haviland (Nathan), Carson Roschen, Alivia and Willard Roschen; her stepgrandchildren, Josh Minder (Connie), Jesse, Mason Peterson and Portia Bolland; her great grandchildren, Bentley, Brooks, Rayleigh Post, Ryan Groth, Ryder, Paislee Heisler, Blakelee and Casen Haviland; her stepgreat-grandsons, Calvin Minder, Ethan and Wesley Hertzog; and her siblings, Ken Vieths (Sharon), Audrey Novek, Sandy Wood (Mike), Larry Vieths (Nancy), Keith Vieths, Lynette Hanson (Ron) and Tony Vieths (Jean). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the United Lutheran Church (628 W 5th St, Red Wing, MN 55066). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are preferred to United Lutheran Church or St. Croix Hospice.
