He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his son Stanley III of Richfield, Minn.; his sisters, Marcia Nelson of Apple Valley, Minn., Mary Kaphings (Tom) of Plymouth, Minn. and JoAnn Williams of Zumbrota; his nieces and nephews, Jennifer Johnson, LeeAnn Keller, Lucas, Charlie, Logan and Thomas LaVoy; and his cousin Fred Simon (Lynda). He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorials to Red Wing Schools Foundation or Minnesota Lions Eye Bank are preferred.
