He was predeceased by: his wife Sharon Jurva; his parents, Ernest McNurlin and Annette McNurlin (Niska); his grandson Jacob Christianson; and his sister Jan Nei.

He is survived by: his children, Pam McNurlin of Red Wing, Scott McNurlin (Lee-Lee) of Ellsworth, WI and Tom Jr. McNurlin (Linda) of Prescott, WI; his grandchildren, Josh Christianson, Jenny Conroy (Michael), Matthew, Marcus McNurlin (Lauren) and Amy Jo McNurlin; his great grandchildren, Wesley, Cedric, Eli, Landon, Michael, Thomas and Jacob; and his sister Barb Wellman of Howell, MI.. He is also survived by husband and loved his children and grandchildren.

Memorials are preferred to United Lutheran Church.
