He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Carroll and Joye Carroll (Saunders); his stepfather Arnold Sundheim; his siblings, Nancy Bussman, Bruce Carroll and Patrick Carroll; his brother-in-law Frank Viscount; his parents-in-law, Paul and LaVonne Jennings; his grandparents, Eugene, Tessi Carroll, Walter and Clara Saunders; and his nephew Levi John Carroll.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy Jennings; his children, Lindsey Truex (Nate) of Charleston, IL, Tanya Hayes of Red Wing and Shawn Hayes of Red Wing; his grandchildren, Abel, Easton, Dalton Truex and Hunter Hayes; and his siblings, Dennis Carroll of Red Wing, Steve Carroll (Nancy) of Red Wing, Mary Mondry (Joe) of Red Wing, Colleen Welt (Bruce) of Red Wing, Sue Barsness (Wayne) of Stone Lake, WI, Bonnie Viscount of Red Wing, Pat Baker of New Prague, Beth Kruse (Dale) of Hager City, Peter Carroll (Lori) of Whitesboro, TX and Lisa Schafer (Joel) of Owatonna. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Calendar Church of St. Joseph (435 W 7th St, Red Wing, MN 55066).
