She was predeceased by: her parents, Aruthur Cordes and Alvina Cordes (Michaelson); her husband Russell Carlson; her son-in-law Jerry Holm; her grandson Jacob Carlson; and her siblings, Orlin, Walter, Lyle and Vernice Cordes.
She is survived by: her children, Dean Carlson (Diane) of Red Wing, James Carlson (Cindy) of Red Wing, Denise Holm of Red Wing and Bruce Carlson (Jennifer) of Red Wing; her grandchildren, Kelly Jo Carlson, Greg Carlson (Kristi), Ryan Holm (Michelle), Kevin Holm (Elyse), Nicholas Carlson (Aleisha), Katie Carlson, Stacy Carlson, Brittney Carlson (Dan Canada) and Travis Carlson (Isabella); and her sister Verna Koenig of Lake City. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (24686 315th St, Red Wing, MN 55066). A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are preferred to the church.
