Wayne leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Wayne’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Theis and Dorothy Theis (Burdick); his wife Nancy Welt; and his brother Bruce Theis. He is survived by: his children, Shelley Theis of Red Wing and Chad (Sandy Tomhave) of Maplewood, MN; and his siblings, Gary Theis of Red Wing and Marilyn Peterson of Red Wing. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
