She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter J. Berghuis and Josie Berghuis (Roelofs); her husband Curtis; her siblings, Harley, Glenn, Robert Berghuis, Gladys Korthuis, Susan Asche, Betty Docken and Patricia Willander; and her in-laws, E. P. Carlson, Lorraine Norrander and Meredith Froehlich.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jackie Lueck (Paul) of Redwood Falls and Judy Thompson (Curt) of St. Michael; her grandchildren, Betsy Goblirsch (Ryan), Suzanne Anderson (Kinsey), Erica Volna (Matt) and Dustin Thompson (Brie Roland); her great grandchildren, Sam, Gabe, Nikki Anderson, Isaac, Evie and Timothy Volna; her siblings, Candee Schueler and Larry Berghuis (Lana); and her siblings-in-law, Janice Stager and Bill Willander. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bethany Church (222 Main St N, Clara City, MN 56222). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 1:45 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bethany Church Cemetery (222 Main St N, Clara City, MN 56222).
