He is survived by: his children, Ed Walter of Clements, MN, Eugene Walter (Nancy) of Cologne, MN, Bernard Walter (Mary) of Burnsville, MN, Monica Kirchberg (Randy) of New Ulm, MN, Helen Andries (Joe) of Marshall, MN, Lois Rengel (Matt) of Sartell, MN and Grace Dunkley (Wade) of St Louis Park, MN; his stepchildren, Gregory Filzen (Linda), Patricia Kutzorik (Darwin), Daniel Filzen, Robert Filzen (Rindy), Joyce Eckel and Nancy Grossman; his siblings, Jim Walter and Mary Schunk; and his sister-in-law Darlene Kazmierczak. He is also survived by 37 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
