He was predeceased by: his parents, Christopher Tormondsen and Mathilda Tormondsen (Smith). He is survived by: his wife Margit; his son John Tormondsen, Sr. of Stamford, CT; his sister Mary Schliep of Grand Marais, MN; his grandchildren, Erin Powers (Ben) of Cornwall, VT and John Tormondsen, Jr. (Maria Golub) of New York City, NY; and his great grandchildren, Henry, George, Thomas and Charles. He is also survived by other relatives, and friends.
