The passing of Norma Groen of Renville, Minnesota leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on May 22, 2025 at the age of 82. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Meyer and Katie Meyer (Gerdes); and her sisters, Laura, Diane and Candace.

She is survived by: her husband Harold Groen; her children, Gail Novak (Randy) of Willmar, Randal Groen (Christy) of Prinsburg, Cara Mitchell (Chase) of Fort Collins, Tony Groen (Laura) of Lakeville, Sheri Roberts (Eric) of Atlanta, GA and Andrew Groen of Sandstone, MN; and her siblings, Char Groen, Merlyn Meyer, Lonie Hillenbrand (Wayne), Cheryl Brouwer (Cal) and Wendel Meyer. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Emden Christian Reformed Church (512 Emerson Ave NW, Renville, MN 56284). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
