With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Daniel Nolan Leahy of Rice, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 28, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Bobbi. He is survived by: his wife Denise Zimmerman; his daughter Stephanie VanRheen (Aaron) of Portland; his grandchildren, Isaac, Nathan and Evelyn; his sons, Eric (Alex) of Waite Park, MN and Benjamin of Deer River, MN.; his siblings, Tim (Renae), John [Clancy] (Lorraine), Mike (Luann) and Megan (Stanton); his father-in-law Gary Zimmerman (Sue); and his brothers, Doug Zimmerman (Anne) and Colin Lundgren (Wendy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Pines Church (1950 125th St NW, Rice, MN 56367). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Pines Lutheran Church (1950 125th St NW, Rice, MN 56367).
