Theresa A. Duea Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 12, 2025, at the age of 93, Theresa A. Duea of Rice, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, August Guck and Kathryn Guck (Donnay); her husband John Duea; and her siblings, Raymond, Rosemary Girtz and Doris Sullivan.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Wolf (Jim), Susie Beierman (Scott), Larry (Anne Halek), Brian (Bertha), David, Laurie Czech (Mike), Cindy Seppelt (Dean) and Brad; and her sisters, Lucille Hovland of Rice and Shirley Schwalbe of Avon. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (130 1st St SW, Rice, MN 56367). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Minnesota State Veteran's Cemetery.
Memorials are preferred to St. Clare's Monastery.
