We bid farewell to Chantel Akara of Richfield, Minnesota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 18, 2025 at the age of 71. Chantel touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Chantel was predeceased by: siblings, Catherine Moss, Zerline Epps and Denise Collier; and nieces, Linda Moss-Allen and Carolyn Epps.
Chantel is survived by: siblings, Thomas Collier (Daisy) and Janet Crews; nephews, Thomas R. Collier III, Michael A. Collier and Karl Hodde; great-nieces, Kimberly Singletary, Aeriyanna Collier and Mi'kayla Collier; great-nephew Michael Collier Jr.; and cousins, Gennie Cheek and Donald McClaim.
Chantel had a strong love for animals, and all things Christmas. so, to honor her memory, memorials are preferred to Toys for Tots, or Heartland Animal Rescue Team (HART).
