The memory of Elizabeth R. Fossen of Richfield, Minnesota, who passed away on May 13, 2025 at the age of 97, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wellwood Kennedy and Effie Kennedy; her husband Russell; her son Douglas; and her sister Jeanne Bell.
She is survived by: her children, Tom Fossen (Pam), Barb Anderson, Mike Fossen (Kathy), Joan Mithun (Jim) and Sue Weiss (John); her daughter-in-law Evonne Fossen; her sister Kaye Mason; and also Joyce Bommersbach. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Catholic Church of the Assumption (305 E 77th St, Minneapolis, MN 55423). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, May 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
