She was predeceased by: her husband Curtis Simon; her sons, James Simon and Mathew Simon; her parents, Arnold Walch and Elizabeth Walch; and her sisters, Betty Lee and Patricia Ashcroft.
She is survived by: her children, Ann Anton, Joe Simon, Kurt Simon (Joan), Gail Simon-Kian and Ben Simon (Brenda Rathje); and her grandchildren, Rachel (Mike), Phillip (Suzy), Nathan, Susan (Derrick), Adam, Roxana, Samantha (Darrin), Johan (Caroline), Alex (Diana), Zach, Madalyn (Andy) and Cyrus. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren; and other loving family and friends.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Prior Assumption Catholic Church (305 E 77th St, Minneapolis, MN 55423). A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at the Assumption Catholic Cemetery (305 E 77th St, Minneapolis, MN 55423).
