With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Florian Joseph Sterner of Richfield, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 4, 2025 at the age of 99. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Sterner and Anna Sterner (Fiecke); and his wife Mary Jo (Kort). He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Carlson (Curt), Carol High (Chris) and Steven Sterner; his grandchildren, Linnea (Bradley), Hannah, Jacob, Eric, Kiele and Kaela; and his great grandchildren, Ashton, Connor and Benjamin.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Richard Catholic Church (7540 Penn Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55423). A Mass will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
