He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Edward and Mabel Gloege (Beckley); his sisters, Darlene Heymann and Mary Lou Marsolais; and his son Daniel Gloege.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Raney; his sons, Peter, Tim and Stephen; and his daughters-in-law, Rochelle, Lisa, Ali and Erin.
Although Gary struggled with Parkinson's later in life, he was thrilled to welcome four daughters-in-law (Rochelle, Lisa, Ali, and Erin) and then nine grandchildren into the family.
