He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hager and Marie Hager (Costello); his sister Eleanor; and his siblings-in-law, Terry Groby and Linda Hager (Jim).
He is survived by: his wife Marcia Hager (Fairchild) of Peter's Catholic Church; his sons, Randy (Sarah), Rich and Russ; his grandchildren, Raeann, Hanna, Elsa, Tyler, Samantha and Lucas; and his brothers, Jim, Dennis (Jane) and Leo (Vicki).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Morris Nilsen Funeral Chapel (6527 Portland Ave S, Richfield, MN 55423). A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the St Peter's Catholic Church (6730 Nicollet Ave, Richfield, MN 55423). A burial will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery (7601 34th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55450).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the VFW Post#5555 of Richfield, or the Armed Forces Service Center (MSP Airport).
