With sadness, we share the passing of James R. Spitzack of Richfield, Minnesota. James, born on August 8, 1943, passed away on August 23, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember James for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger and Eileen; and his brother Gerald "Jerry" Spitzack. He is survived by: his wife Becky Liepitz of Milwaukee; his daughter Joy Anderson (Jimmy); and his sister Janet Novak (Frank). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church (6544 16th Ave S, Richfield, MN 55423). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church-Richfield or Camp Omega-Waterville, MN.
