She is survived by: her children, Joline Gitis (Steven Miles) and Sheldon Gitis; her grandchildren, Dara Miles (Sambo Pen), Erica Bowen (Brian) and Esme Gitis-Miles; and her great grandchildren, Stephanie, Serena Miles and Aaron James Bowen.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Shir Tikvah Synagogue, 1360 W. Minnehaha Pkwy, Minneapolis or donor's choice.
