With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marlys Louise Hyslop of Richfield, Minnesota, born in Cologne, Minnesota, who passed away on September 11, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jim Hyslop; her parents, Arthur AmEnd and Eleanor AmEnd; her brother Douglas AmEnd; and her sister-in-law Gloria AmEnd.
She is survived by: her sons, Bruce Hyslop and Scott Hyslop (Dora); her grandchildren, Andrew Powers, Sarah Hackbarth (Paul) and Nicholas Hyslop; her great grandchildren, Aidan and Michael Hackbarth; her sister-in-law Jean Carlson (Bruce); and her nieces and nephews, Barbara Hoffman, Diane Miller (Rob), Marty Carlson (Mary) and Jim Carlson.
Memorials are preferred to Berea Lutheran Church or the American Heart Association.
