He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernie Sandeen and Marie Sandeen; and his brother David Sandeen. He is survived by: his wife Judy Gross-Sandeen; his stepdaughters, Kristin Peterson (Tom), Kimberly Dimmick (Mike) and Karol Gross; his stepgrandchildren, Cullen Gross, Nicole Kinne (Aaron), Josh Stearns (Sarah), Stephanie Koppes (Rob), Alicia Rutten (Kevin), Devyn Partington (Jordan) and Brandon Dimmick (Teresa); his sister Cheryl Sandeen; his niece Nicole Edward (Chuck); and his nephew Eric Mahn. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, many cousins and friends.
Memorials preferred to House of Prayer Lutheran Church in Richfield or Richfield Spartan Foundation.
