He is survived by: his wife Mary (Marxen); his children, Susan Murphy, Deborah Laudermilk, Nina Huntley, Bob McGowan (Charlotte), Marion Nelson (Ron), Teresa Vareberg and Harold McGowan (Brenda); and his sisters, Ardith Alstadt and Marie Niccum. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; many nieces & nephews and a host of friends.
