He was predeceased by: his wife Eleanor Bjorkquist (Simonsen); his parents, Herbert Bjorkquist and Anna Bjorkquist; his sister Joanne Nelson; and his brother-in-law Norman Nelson.
He is survived by: his children, Anne (Jack), Brenda (Scott), Brian, Daniel and Carol (Scott); his grandchildren, Chris (Teresa), James, Linnea, Anna (Andrew), Sarah and Laura; and his great grandchildren, William, Eleanor and Caroline. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Faith Lilac Way Lutheran Church (5530 N 42nd Ave, Robbinsdale, MN 55422). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Faith-Lilac Way Lutheran Church (5530 N 42nd Ave, Robbinsdale, MN 55422).
