Evelyn H. Schmeling Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn H. Schmeling of Robbinsdale, Minnesota, who passed away on May 5, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Heldt and Minnie Heldt (Sieg) of Butterfield, MN; her husband Arlyn L. Schmeling; her children, Ruth and Rev. Paul; and her siblings, Gertrude, Lydia, Elsie, Melrose, Minne, Richard, Harold, Herman and Wallace.
She is survived by: her children, Angela Klatt (Darv), Becky Klatt (David), Marian Wiechmann (Gaius), Rev. James Schmeling (Martha) and Rev. Steve Schmeling (Paula); her daughter-in-law Beth Schmeling; and her sister Laverna Nelson. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
